XML + XSLT can be very performant, I used this approach a lot years ago with Content Management Server :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Often it depends on what you get from the API you&amp;#39;re using - if it gives you XML, don&amp;#39;t serialize it into objects, just transform it.
